Airline Thunderstick Red
Packs an absolute wallop of tone
Story
The Airline Model 7214 of the early '60s may be short in stature, but anyone who's had the chance to play one agrees: this little thing punches way above its weight!
The overwound vintage VALCO pickups, 22" inch scale, and 12th fret neck joint all work together to create an absolute wallop of a tone - all in a comfortable 3/4 size that feels like an old friend. It's no wonder this model was aptly dubbed the "Thunderstick", and we plan to carry on that legacy with this modern recreation.
The Airline Thunderstick stays true to the original in size and aesthetics, but is upgraded to include quality of life enhancements like a tune-o-matic bridge and two-way truss rod. The custom hot gold foil humbuckers in this thing hit like a truck, and with its short scale and 12th-fret joint design, this guitar will fit you like a boxing glove!
