Joshua Hayward
Joshua (or simply Josh) Hayward is the guitarist with London's neo-goth rockers The Horrors - and an FX pedal whizz kid who designs & customises his all pedals! He's a recent addition to the Eastwood family, using an Airline H74 DLX for some songs of their live sets.
Most guitarists love FX pedals... but few, especially in well-known bands, have designed and built as many pedals as Josh Hayward has - according to a Musicradar interview, he has built "hundreds" of pedals!
Effects pedals are, as you may have guessed, a big part of Josh's sound, a creative player who creates much of The Horrors sonic textures. Also for this reason, his choice of guitars is crucial - and when not using his Jazzmasters or Jaguars, he adds the rich semi-acoustic tones of the Airline H74 DLX to his repertoire.
