Airline Guitars Pocket Bass Lefty
Short Scale with Piezo and Humbucking Pickups
Fantastic sounding Bass for recording! Super fun to play!
The Airline Pocket Bass is a reissue of a classic vintage bass known for its excellent sound quality. As noted by vintage gear collector G.E. Smith, it is one of the best recording basses available. The new Pocket Bass is great sounding, fun to play, and addresses some shortcomings of the originals. The 26.5” scale length, which is extremely short, is actually a bit longer than the original vintage examples and makes this bass a joy to play.
The Airline Pocket Bass features a Mahogany Body and Bolt-on Neck (Maple w/Pau Ferro fingerboard) for a rich, warm tone. With a 26.5” scale length, 1 - ½” nut width, and compensated Ebony bridge, this bass offers optimal performance. The Humbucking and Piezo pickups, along with the Master Volume and Blend controls, allow for versatile sound options. Additionally, the internal Active Preamp with trim control and high-quality Gotoh-style Nickel/Chrome hardware make this bass a must-have for any bass player.
