Boybrain's Inga Olson Joins the Airline Artist Family

Airline Guitars is proud to welcome Inga Olson of Boybrain to the Airline artist family!

Known for her sharp, catchy lead guitar work and raw punk energy, Inga brings serious attitude, style, and bite to the Chicago music scene. As lead guitarist for Boybrain, she helps drive a sound that is loud, snarling, melodic, and unapologetically alive.

Boybrain delivers a ferocious blend of 1980s punk attitude, raw vocals, driving rhythms, and hooks that cut through the noise. With Patti on vocals and guitar, Inga on lead guitar, Colin on drums, and Jonny on bass and vocals, the band brings together a lineup full of grit, experience, and serious firepower.

Boybrain’s debut EP, In The Company Of Worms, was released on February 22, 2022, followed by the singles Cayo Hueso, Ratmouth, and their newest single, Nailbox, released February 14, 2025.

We’re especially excited to have Inga representing the Airline Dirty Birdy Fuzz Pedal. Built to move from gritty breakup to full-throttle fuzz, the Dirty Birdy is a perfect fit for Inga’s sharp lead work and Boybrain’s punchy, pissed-off sound.

The Dirty Birdy cleans up beautifully with the guitar’s volume control, then roars when pushed. From tight, nasty grind to blown-out fuzz, it delivers the kind of vintage-inspired chaos that feels right at home in Boybrain’s world.
