The first Airline Guitars "Custom Shop" Guitar? Yes, please!
Airline "Custom Shop"? Ooh la la! 😍
Every once in a while, you build something simply because you think it would be cool.
That's exactly how this Airline Guitars 2P Performer project started.
Finished in Gold Flake and loaded with a custom pickguard, custom electronics, and a performance-oriented control layout, this guitar gave our Guitar Chief an opportunity to experiment with a few ideas that had been floating around for a while. This thing features plenty of "BooYah!" swagger, folks.

The result is a one-of-a-kind Airline that manages to be equal parts stage machine and conversation piece.
Now, before anyone asks—yes, we're calling it an Airline "Custom Shop" build. We're using that term pretty loosely. There isn't a secret factory hidden beneath O'Hare Airport filled with master luthiers and vintage machinery.
But technically speaking, this is the first guitar we've built specifically as a custom project under the Airline name, which makes it a fun little milestone in its own right.
Will there be more? Count on it.
For now, we're just enjoying the fact that this thing turned out exactly as wild as we hoped it would.
What do you think? Would you leave it exactly as it is, or what would you change? What would you build?
