Airline Guitars H35 Batwing Mandola

Chambered Solidbody Electric!

Eclectic Electrics expand your Musical Horizons!

Explore new musical horizons with the Airline H35 Batwing Mandola. Like a viola, the H35 is tuned in fifths with a low-to-high progression of C-G-D-A.  Its unique body style and elegant curves provide a sharp, distinctive look perfect for Airline's "Eclectic Electric" series. The Batwing design balances the refined appearance of a traditional F-Style instrument with a more distinct and edgy look.

While original vintage models featured a hollowbody archtop design, the impracticality of their bulky neck block and fully hollow construction led to strategic modifications for these Batwing Series models, solidifying this design as a truly practical musician's tool.  Equipped with a sleek, chambered body for optimal resonance and minimal feedback, the humbucking pickups provide optimal tone without any interference from 60 cycle hum. A hard-tail bridge and adjustable saddles is also standard.
